Terms of Service

By using Custodyn, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. The Service

Custodyn provides AI agent monitoring, audit logging, and policy enforcement tools ("the Service"). We provide SDKs, a backend API, and a dashboard for managing your AI agents.

2. Your Account

• You must provide accurate information when registering
• You are responsible for keeping your API key secure
• You are responsible for all activity under your account
• You must be 18 or older to use this service
• One account per company — creating duplicate accounts is not allowed

3. Subscription & Billing

• Free tier is available with limited features as described on our pricing page
• Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance
• You can upgrade or downgrade at any time
• Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period
• We do not offer refunds for partial months
• Prices may change with 30 days notice

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Custodyn to:

• Monitor agents performing illegal activities
• Attempt to reverse engineer or copy our backend systems
• Overload our servers with excessive requests beyond your plan limits
• Share your API key with unauthorized third parties
• Use the service to harm, deceive, or defraud others

5. Data Ownership

You own your audit log data. We store it on your behalf. We will never sell or share your agent activity data. You can export or delete your data at any time.

6. Service Availability

We aim for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for losses caused by service downtime. We will notify you of planned maintenance in advance.

7. Limitation of Liability

Custodyn is a monitoring and logging tool. We are not responsible for actions taken by your AI agents. You are solely responsible for configuring appropriate policies and reviewing approvals. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 3 months.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may cancel your account at any time from the dashboard. Upon termination, your data will be deleted after 30 days.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms with 30 days notice. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
